Although I know some people really like the concept, I believe many of us don’t like the concept of strikes. Would it be possible to add a new configuration option where, instead of displaying strikes, it shows how many days the app has been used? Personally, I like this idea better, as it gives a sense of progress (you can set goals, e.g., reading for 365 days) and removes the feeling of pressure.
If it’s configurable, each user could use it according to their preference, which wouldn’t harm anyone, and the current design could be reused.
