How might I be able to do this? Two languages, Nuxalk and Michif
Sorry, but that’s not possible. You can’t add languages that aren’t available in the list of study languages.
Maybe they meant suggest?
I think it would be too difficult to hit the requirements. And even if these languages were added to LingQ, in which way would you benefit? Is there enough written/audio content to learn from massive input?
As a workaround you could use 2 languages wich you are never going to learn with LingQ as a placeholder (e.g. English for Nuxalk). You could simply upload your own content there and ignore all the content that has already been prepared by other useres. That way you can use the LingQ platform for any language. However, you have to use an external dictionary and there is no benefit from the group (e.g. other people creating translations).
I’m a teacher, and I really like the platform. I have a massive amount of content prepared, and would just like to be able to use the software, specifically being able to implement the dictionary… the hard part.
I am curious to know if you are a native speaker. At this point I have mentioned before, or rather suggested, the idea of a fork where Indigenous language groups set up a non or not for profit that uses lingq to help Indigenous as well as non-Indigneous learn the language.
It could either be on lingq separately in a way or a literal website offshoot. I think the former could be great since the Ukraine language is free to learn now without Premium and I feel it could be handled(the costs) by the tribes. I get the impression lingq would work much better than some of the pre-existing programs…jmo.
Do you have the translations of the Mini Stories?
I played with putting Irish text in my unused Icelandic section while I had premium.
I used google translate and google sheets to create bilingual text so I didn’t need LIngQ to do the dictionary. I just collected klnown words form the Irish parts.

I am about the closest to a native speaker that exists currently.
