If I look under my account page It says its charging me Twice. Shows up like this:
Sunday, August 01, 2010 08:44 $10.00 BASIC Membership for the period from August 01, 2010 to September 01, 2010.
Sunday, August 01, 2010 08:41 $10.00 BASIC Membership for the period from August 01, 2010 to September 01, 2010.
Friday, July 02, 2010 01:22 $10.00 BASIC Membership for the period from July 02, 2010 to August 02, 2010.
Thursday, July 01, 2010 12:31 $10.00 BASIC Membership for the period from July 01, 2010 to August 01, 2010.
Now, I assumed in july it showed up twice because paypal was messed up. Soo I did it agan with my credit card directly.
I didnt think the same thing would happen in August though. The money should be coming out of my credit card directly. ( i cant tell right now because my online credit statement isnt up to date). BUt if i log into Paypal it says that it deducted 10$ aswell. If that’s the case, I think once my credit statement is updated online it will show that lingq was paid twice.
Should i try to cancel the paypal payment?? Would that screw things up?
@keroro - We are trying to figure out why your account is showing multiple charges today. Our records show that you have not actually been charged twice. Therefore, you shouldn’t be canceling anything. However, I’m not exactly clear on what you are saying above. Do you mean you first had paypal as your payment method but then changed it to a credit card after? As long as you did it within your account, it should have simply replaced the payment method. Please check your credit card statement and let us know if you have been charged twice but it doesn’t look like it on our end. Sorry for the confusing transactions list. We are looking into it.
Well remember in July when i upgraded i posted this. I tried with paypal the first time, BUt apparently it didnt work but it showed up on my paypal account and in my account that I paid july. But something with paypal wasnt working soo you wanted me to try again SOO i paid with my credit card directly and it worked. Now this month both in my account at lingq and paypal it says I 10 $ was paid aswell as paid onto my credit card. SINCE payments should be coming out of my credit card anyways can i just cancel the paypal payments or subscription as it appears to still be active.??? I dont think i can check my credit card online until monday when thye post the new expenses…
In anycase as i mentioned paypal and lingq are both saying i paid 10$ with paypal and it should be that way. Might be a glitch but If possibe I dont soo why i cant cancel the original failed paypal subscription if its still trying to take out money from there???

@ keroro - We have figured it out. It turns out you did manage to create two payment profiles in the system and were being charged in both. We have canceled the second one now and refunded your two extra payments. Sorry about that. We’re not really sure how you managed to do that. It should be fine now.
Well I didnt do anything. Other than do what you told me to do originally =p. Paypal somehow didnt work the first time soo i paid with a credit card. As long as the payments keep coming out directly from my credit card from now on its all good!
