I have tried several times to upgrade my account to basic plan with my credit card or with paypal but it didn´t work. I tried the recurring payment and the 6 month payment, neither worked. My PayPal account is verefied and my Credit Card is valid.

Which error are you receiving when trying to upgrade? The one-time payment (Login - LingQ) should go through in any case unless there is a problem with your card, but the error message displayed should help to better explain why it isn’t working.
