Isn’t it awesome?

I applied an AI TTS to the lesson audio generation. For now, it’s the prototyping stage, but I tested Gemini TTS and OpenAI TTS, and both could be utilized.
It will be useful for non-English language learners, since I heard from them that the default TTS is not good.
I’ll refine the code and add it as a feature in my add-on soon.
If you like this one, leave a message about it.

Both sound better than the current ones we have on LingQ. Is there a possibility to choose it as an option on LINGQ itself without resorting to downloading third party add ons.
If you install my add-on and set up an API key for the TTS service, what you need to do to generate a lesson audio will be just click the generation button.
The above demo shows the workflow I’m going to develop.

will there be a character restriction. I am using some free AI voices on a separate window, but they have a character restriction so for a long lesson I have to copy and paste text in parts which is a bit time consuming. I don’t know about your add on if it may have it. I am currently using this OpenAi, my preferable one for English is NYC cabbie with Ash or Noir Detective with Ash.
OpenAI.fm
They are both zero length i.e. nothing!
I’m excited to try this! Thank you so much for sharing!
Wait the loading or click the URL.
Technically no. The cost will be the only restriction.

It doesn’t load. However, the links do work. The first is awful and unpleasant to listen to, the voice is very creaky, i.e. vocal fry, the second is excellent.
Yesterday I downloaded tempermonkey extension and then downloaded underscript (from the link you provided)but I did not see any change on LINGQ lesson. I was trying to look into Audio generated add on. I am very new to this. Let me know how to follow step by step instructions. Thanks
