Hi
I am trying to learn Malay on Lingq which is not supported here, can anyone tell me how to do it step by step?
Thank you
you live in singapore isn’t there alot of malay speaking people living there?
I live in Malaysia, among 30 millions of people speaking Malay! XD
I have not been able tog rasp the language so far, I guess because I did not memorize their vocabulary. I would like to learn here and also use Lingq for improving my reading!
Any idea on how to do it my Barbados friend?
for learning and memorising the vocabulary you can use also www.memrise.com and here you can just use some language slot of a language which you will not want to learn and import here material in malay.
Can you explain more about “slot of a language”?
I did not get it
Thank you
well just choose a language which you do not intent to study here on lingq in the future and import there whatever you want for malay.
What you should do if you’re truly motivated:
1.5: Get Mark’s attention.
Find a whole bunch of online websites with eg. news articles, short stories, etc. in Malay and post them into the forum post. Preferably lessons with varying levels like beginner to advanced.
continue doing this for a few months.
wait
Meanwhile, learn Malay in a different language slot like Sarka said.
After a few weeks/months? Malay will be added and you will have read through a lot of Malay material and advanced a lot as well.

Edit: Method 2: Make Steve learn Malay. jkjk
No joke, great post.
Also, native transcript podcast project – https://www.lingq.com/forum/open-forum/native-podcast-transcripts-project/
Also, premium partnership with audiobook providers.
Pretty much blueprint to take lingq to next level.
