Without my knowledge, the system was not allowing students to choose me as a writing corrector. I am now able to correct once again. If you are still unable to choose me, please let me know as soon as possible so I can get the problem corrected. I apologize to all my students for the inconvenience! I look forward to reading your writings soon.
There is no line that reads “Send writing in English” on the profile page.
Something is wacky! I have never changed any of my settings. Apparently because my Activity Score was previously 0, the system wasn’t allowing me to correct writings. I had no idea! I now have Activities even though the system hasn’t updated them. I haven’t gotten any writings in a month and a half. I wondered what was going on. A student brought it to my attention. I hope the problem is corrected. Thanks for letting me know, Yutaka.
I would appreciate it if you would all let me know if you can see whether I am available to correct writings or not. I can’t see it for myself for some reason.
This is directly related to the unexpected delay in updates to the Activity Score. We hope to have it fixed soon, but in the meantime it should be updated properly by tomorrow.
Regarding you being unable to see it on your own page, this has actually always been the case (so that people don’t submit writing to themselves! :P). Rest assured that once your Activity Score updates your name will be added to the list of available correctors.
Thanks. Yes, I know I have never been able to see myself. I guess I shouldn’t have said that. I just wanted to emphasize that I have no way to check it out for myself. That is one thing that I wish could be fixed.

Now you know “1,029 English words” and created 3 LingQs, but Activity Score is 0. I suppose the number 1029 is misleading. It is less than mine.
The following line on your profile page is extremely funny and misleading.
“Jillisa93 now knows over 1000 English words! - (English).”
“Perfect information[in economics] would practically mean that all consumers know all things, about all products, at all times, and therefore always make the best decision regarding purchase.” Perfect information - Wikipedia Perfect information - Wikipedia
If we were “fundamentalists” in economic terms, we would demand perfect information on all the LingQ tutors.
I certainly hope I know at least 1000 English words! Crazy!
Jilllisa It might make more sense if your activity were in a language other than English.
Yes, I know Steve. I was testing the ability to make LingQs out on the English pages. I actually will do Spanish LingQs in the future.
