I’m having trouble understanding “prendre ses rédacteurs à la mamelle. » and the translation doesn’t seem to quite get the meaning.

It propably means they don’t have experience, they are two young. I hope you’re aware that you’re reading a book that uses a lot of vocabulary and structures that we don’t use nowadays. We don’t speak like that. Just in case you didn’t know it :wink:
