hello!! I am new to ling and I need a bit of help!
how to I turn my lings words (the yellow highlighted ones) into ‘‘known words’’ so I can add to my collection of known words… or is this even possible?
would appreciate any help you could give me!
Hi! I am new too and trying to find my way on the site (there seems to be so much!)
To make your yellow words “known words”, just click on a yellow word in your lesson, on the right side of the screen you’ll see numbers, 1, 2, 3, 4. 1 is for “new”, 2 is for “can’t remember”, 3 is for “not sure” and 4 is for “known”! Click on 4 and your word will be “known”, i.e. instead of being highlighted yellow, it will now be underlined with a dotted line

You can individually change the status, or do it as a batch status change in the vocabulary section. You can also automatically move words to known by getting them right twice in your flash cards , multiple choice etc.
