When I import a video (I import the video and add the transcript) into LingQ and go to the “phrase-by-phrase” mode, the text of each phrase is read by an automated voice (not the fragment of the video where that prhase is being said).
However, I have seen other videos where, when working with the video in “phrase-by-phrase” mode, each phrase is played by the same segment of the video.
I hope I’ve explained this clearly in English. How can I make the text in my imported videos also be synced with the corresponding segment of the video? This way, I can work in phrase mode while listening to the video itself rather than the automated voice.
The synchronization is only possible if there is an audio file available too. If you extract audio from the video and upload it to a lesson, then you can achieve the synchronization in the sentence mode with the original audio.
Thank you. Is there a way to automatically upload the audio of a target video while importing the video itself? Or do I need to download the video and convert it to audio myself with another program in order to add the audio while importing the video in Lingq?
To clarify, I’ve seen videos where the video is synchronized with the text in phrase mode, and the video fragments play automatically if you push PLAY button on the phrases. However, those videos also have an additional audio track (besides the main video audio).
