How to manually import YouTube videos while imports are broken

Most likely. I’ve been using LingQ for 3 years give or take and I can say this is at least a once of year occurrence with the app.

Hi mate, thanks for the interest. This info should be helpful.

Right, the Playlist extension has several options for modifying or generating the video’s transcript when importing to LingQ. There is

  • AI Formatted Subtitle (Punctuation, sentence forming)
  • Offline formatted Subtitle (longer sentence chunks - free)
  • Transcription with LingQ (Audio->Subtitle) [10 hour cap / month… part of LingQ sub]
  • Transcription with LanguageMaster (Audio->Subtitle) [3 tokens / minute… 1000 tokens is ~$1]
  • Original Subtitle
  • Autogen Subtitle

All the MasterLingQ tools are part of the one-off price. Using the LanguageMaster Transcription or AI services consumes tokens though. If using Subtitles Imports and/or your own AI keys then the cost becomes basically free at scale.

I’ve forgotten about some of these older videos. Mostly not relevant anymore as the tools have been through years of development since. Will look at updating them sooner or later.
