I you use firefox or chrome as your web browser you can easily convers lingq.com website into application (software for learning languages).
In firefox install prism add-on:

From the menu tools choose: conver website to application.
You have many options to choose but it will create shortcuts to ling on destop (using ling icon) and when you launch it you have great software for language learning (you won’t notice it’s a browser window)
In chrome: you choose: create application shorcuts, the rest is done for you.
