How do I import a ebook from Kindle to LingQ?

Since the contents in Kindle are protected by DRM, there’s no direct way to import them to LingQ. However, it seems that it’s possible technically. Refer this topic.

I use Epubor to convert Kindle azw to EPUB. Then click the Import button in LingQ which opens a window that I can drop the EPUB file into. LingQ breaks the book into chunks of around 6000 words (if I recall correctly), and makes each chunk a lesson. You have no control over where the breaks occur so a lesson might contain the last part of one book chapter and the first part of the next. I haven’t found that to be a problem or even an annoyance other than not being able to easily go to a particular chapter.

I save the EPUB version. What I normally do is read a book then delete it from LingQ because a single book takes up a lot of room in the primitive Continue Studying panel on LingQ. Then I use Epubor for the next book. After a couple books, I go back and reread an earlier book getting even more out of it than the first reading. it’s easy to do since I still have the EPUB file and LingQ can convert it back to lessons in a few minutes.

I’ve been doing this for more than a year or two and never had a problem.

Calibre + DeDRM plugin allows you to remove the DRM from ebooks, so you can either export them as non-DRM ebooks or pdf and use that to import it into LingQ.
