It appears that LingQ does not keep track of my listening hours when I listen to the you tube videos imported by me. It does keep track when I listen to the videos imported by someone else though. Am I doing something wrong when I import those videos?
Thanks for reporting, I asked our team to look into it.
Still happening for me as well.
Same problem here. Hope you can help solve it. Thank you~
I have the same issue
We are working on this and we will have it fixed soon. Thanks for your patience.
Same problem for me, but I’ve only observed it for youtube videos recently imported with the Rooster extention provided by a user here in some forum. For control, before writing these lines, I watched a bit of another video imported a while a go with lingq’s firfox extension, and I got XP for the time spent on that.
From what I can see this has nothing to do with the Rooster extension. Even now after LingQ has fixed the downloading issue, the listening track is not working at all for me.
I also reported an issue with listening time of the lessons, which were recently imported from YouTube with the latest extension.
Yes that really sucks but LingQ tracks your daily hours however If you wanna track your listenning hours you just have to add manually
