Freakonomics is a casual economics blog. There isn’t much jargon used and you don’t need any knowledge about economics to understand their podcasts. The aim is to apply economics thinking to find the hidden side of problems. I find some of the subjects to be very interesting. The podcast are spoken clear and at a good pace, and some even have a transcript. It’s like they were made for language learners!

I think that Freaknomics is not economics. It is not based on any theory in economics; it is both psychological and statistical.
I find that their blog and podcasts are very intriguing.
