Feedback - 15 May Update (Russian)

I updated LingQ yesterday, and noticed the following this morning (Russian).

  1. In “Statistics” the time spent is now substantially more than the actual time spent;
  2. When in listening mode the scoring barely changes;
  3. When in “Review Page” mode the scoring barely changes, changing a word’s familiarity from ‘1’ to ‘2’ or ‘3’ barely changes the score (only if one does so in “Vocabulary” mode).
  4. It’s now no longer possible to click the screen again and again to switch between the Russian and the English word (when in Review Page/Lesson mode).

There may be other problems, if so, I will report back later.

Two other issues noted:

  1. Daily study time does not reset each day.
  2. When doing a Review it’s no longer possible to move the bottom text up and down. As one starts completing the sentence the words at the bottom are pushed down, making it impossible to finish the task (Russian, Stories From My Childhood, Lesson 100)

.

What app version are you on? Are you in beta app?

Hi Zoran, v.6.1.21 (614). This morning I also noticed that it’s no longer possible to advance the audio in increments (I seem to recall this being possible, but may be wrong). I was almost finished with a lesson when, for some reason, the audio went back to the beginning, I then had to listen to everything again.

Study time shown on the lesson complete screen is the actual total study time for that specific lesson, not daily study time. That is available on the general Statistics screen in the Library. I’ll take a look at the rest of the issues.

I spend a few days on one lesson (reviews, vocabulary etc.), doing an hour at a time. The study time used to reset every morning, that’s why suddenly seeing more than 60 minutes was so noticeable.

Lesson 2.

Episode 2, select the missing word. Where?

General request:
@zoran
On the web version (Chrome, android) could the margins be vastly reduced? Far fewer words fit on the screen and so there is unnecessary scrolling.

@bbbblinq I’ll forward your feedback/request to our developers.
