I’m a newer LingQ user and I’ve been really enjoying the platform, but I’ve noticed there doesn’t seem to be a way to hide or archive courses once I’m done with them.
When I click the three-dot menu on a course, the only options I see are: View Course, Edit Course, Delete, Add to Playlist, Report.
It would be great to have a way to remove finished or inactive courses from the main “My Lessons” or “Courses” view without deleting them, since deleting can feel risky and clutters the dashboard over time.
A simple “Hide” or “Archive” option would make it much easier to stay organized while still keeping all our progress and LingQs.
Thanks for considering this — I think a lot of learners who like to stay organized would really appreciate it!
@zoran This could be added to the search page too if possible, as a filter to filter out hidden, archived, completed course/lessons.
Currently under the search page, we only have sort by : complete and incomplete for lessons only.
Although, I am wondering why those 2 are under Sort by though, they should be Filter by rather than Sort by. Similar to the current filters like… Level, Content type, Tags, Accent.
So in this way I can filter out all the hidden/archived or in/completed lesson and at the same time sort by something else ( eg newest to oldest).
Completely agree, it stresses me out seeing all the things I added because i didnt want to forget about but a cleaned up/streamlined way of grouping and forefronting the courses would make a huge difference
