Extra clicks to get to the dictionary -- why?

  • Click blue word.
  • Right pane no longer shows dictionaries, just definitions that have made it to LingQ’s database.

I don’t trust those definitions which seem to be meanings previous users have added.

I want to consult a real dictionary, if for no other reason than to learn the gender of nouns rarely included in the LingQ definitions.

Apparently I have to click the tiny little arrow to the right of Saved Meanings, before I can see a dictionary.

Why? This is arguably the most basic function of LingQ, providing immediate access to a dictionary for a specific word.

Agreed. And to be honest I am not a fan of the right or left arrows you have to click to see the dictionaries. V4 was much better in this respect because dictionaries were displayed in a list. V5 came with far too many extra clicks. This is definitely something I would like to see improved when a new version is released.
