Note: Short vowels are not accounted for. These are more or less approximations.

I just see the standard scroller

Hi I have installed the free chrome extension. Nothing happens when I am in the lingq reader, or listening to and audio from it.

Enhancements for Arabic, Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian languages.

ARABIC
Arabic learners can now swap for the text for a diacritic version while being able to LingQ the original word.

Belarusian
Belarusian learners can now access Latin transliteration and a text to speech approximation. (Previously 0 available voices)

Ukrainian
Ukrainian learners can now access a version of the text with included stress marks while being able to LingQ the original word.

Russian
Russian learners can now access a version of the text with included stress marks while being able to LingQ the original word. An additional transliteration option has also been included.

Hi mate, if you’re using the free version from the web store it uses the translation from the lesson. If your lesson has no translation you can generate one by clicking ‘show translation’ in the options menu of the standard LINGQ reader.

Apparently not always the translation in “reader” works. sometimes it is 2 or 3 raws ahead. HAs someone else reported this? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks

That might be the case. Could you come on the discord and report the issue more thouroughly inside the Bug Tracker?

Rooster Reader is getting some updates over the next few weeks.
Starting with some QOL changes

Word colors / effects now default to off. (This prevents lag on extremely long lessons, re-enable it for shorter lessons)
Word side bar now defaults to current caption only. (Also reduces lag on longer lessons)
Fix for calculating the word frequencies / order in the text for non Latin characters.
Fix for Right-to-Left display on the translation lines for languages that require it.
