Error when trying to use speech in sentence review

Hello

I am studying German, using Edge browser on Mac OS Sonoma

I am doing a ‘Review Sentence’ exercise where it asks you to speak the sentance.

When I press record thought an error message comes up that says:

Any ideas what is wrong?

I did some more testing - it looks to be specific to Edge. Works fine with Safari

Also found some KB that seem to imply the issue is only with Macs using the M chips - and Intel based Macs are ok. I have M3 pro. I have access to an Intel soon which I can test to confirm. Others experience same issue on other sites outside of Lingq
