Up until now my LingQ importer extension has worked fine to import articles. However I tried to import a Netflix show earlier & got “Error: error”. This now happens when I try to import anything. I’ve tried re installing the extension, restarting my browser, deleting cookies, and also tried a different browser (firefox & chrome) but still cant import anything. How can I fix this?
Have gotten the same message just now when attempting to import a YouTube video.
What browser do you use? Hopefully this is just an issue on LingQs end that they can quickly patch then.
I use Mozilla Firefox.

Unsure if its related, but I also can’t review my vocabulary from the browser either from the vocabulary page, or from the end of a lesson. It works from the mobile app however. The review screen is just stuck “loading”
For start, try to open the LingQ extension while the LingQ website is open.
If it doesn’t help, there are few things you can try to fix Firefox extension:
- Remove the extension.
- Log out from the LingQ site.
- Clear cache.
- Restart the Firefox browser.
- Log in to the LingQ site.
- Install the extension.
- Open the extension while you are at the LingQ website.

Do you see same errors for Firefox and Chrome? Could you please share a screenshot.
This is strange. And re-installing didn’t help? Do you use any other extensions? Could you please try to turn them off?
Cleared cache, restarted Firefox, same error.
This import used to work just fine.
Could you please describe the situation when it stopped working?
Mine just didn’t work one day when I logged onto my pc. I tried to import a netflix show using a link to it within the lingq site, that didn’t work with the error I have now & nothing else worked after that.
I just tried with all my other extensions disabled and still not luck.
Also to add, I also still can’t review any vocabulary through the website. It just sticks to a loading screen. This works on mobile however. Unsure if related.
It is really hard to understand what did go wrong with the extension. Could you please try to remove it from “Manage extensions” page in Firefox and then add it back?
For review issue, could you please share a screenshot of the lesson page before clicking on the Review? With all the text on the page. And link to the lesson also would be very helpful, if it is from the Library. Because the loading doesn’t appear to me, and I want to find what specifically cause this issue. Thank you for help
