I’ve found that the new ChatGPT Atlas browser greatly enhances the LingQ reader experience.
With the Ask ChatGPT sidebar open to the right of the reading pane, you can interact directly with the lesson you’re reading—discussing vocabulary and nuance, exploring grammar and structure, assessing tone and naturalness, checking translation accuracy, and even generating short recall or production exercises (fill-in-the-blank, mini-dialogues, reformulations, etc.). It’s a remarkably interactive way to deepen your understanding of the text.
In LingQ listen mode, with synchronized text enabled, you can translate an entire lesson, summarize it in your native or target language, or even create easier or harder versions of it.
You can also save the entire ChatGPT conversation for later review or follow-up—for example, importing it as a new LingQ lesson.
As far as I know, Atlas is currently available only on macOS.
