Maybe I’m dumb and this is operator error but it’s really annoying.
I use youtube videos to study. I use AI to add text. Sometimes the AI gets it wrong. No problem. I’ll just go in and edit it.
I make the change. I click anywhere except the chat box and it immediately reverts the change. I also have the problem in the reader but have found a way around that.
Hi @JeremyBrunette !
Is this happening to you on the iOS app or in the Web version?
Please, describe your steps in a little more detail.
Have you clicked/tapped on the Done/Save button after the editing?
If I understand you correctly, it’s not a bug. You (probably) make a change in a text in a Lesson Editor after regenerating the text and when you’ve just made the change you then
When it’s saying SAVING in the top-right corner any changes you do during this time are futile. Moreover, it might even revert back whatever changes you were saving in the first place.
For this precise reason I tend to use darkmode for the convenience of clearly seeing the borders of the edit area. Keep in mind that SAVING happens whenever you alt-tab or otherwise switch this tab.
This situation gets even worse when you edit large lessons, because it takes more time to save the changes + sometimes this process fails on its own.
My text editor seems to be different from yours. I also don’t get that “saving” message in light or dark mode. I found a work around though so I can make it work now.
Thanks.
It happens in the web version. If I add a ; at the end of every edit, it saves it though. Then I delete the ; and it stays deleted for some reason.
This seems to happen with all punctuation. I don’t know why.
