Why? Because :
- It makes translation impossible (see 1st image below) **1
- It’s not necessary as LingQ truncates to different lengths anyway - much less than 110 - when necessary (see other images below)
**1. : because of this “feature”, I regularly have to 1/ go back to source in the browser, 2/ select and copy the text, and 3/paste and translate in a 3rd party tool
