Don't ask, absorb!

I thought this was a great video that Moses McCormick recently made, and so I thought I’d share it with you:

Great video. That’s exactly what we do here: Don’t ask a lot, just keep on reading and listening. Steve’s mantra.

@Chris
Thank you very much for sharing Moses McCormick’s great video with us.
I totally agree with his idea.

Steve also wrote the following comment on his blog in the past. Since I read this comment, I have felt less frustrated and become able to enjoy learning language more when I encounter the uncertainty about the target language whatever that might be.

“To be a successful language learner you have to deal with uncertainty. You have to accept that there will always be words that you do not understand, and words that you pronounce wrong”

Don’t focus on the finger ! :wink:

Thanks for this video!

I am really impressed with Moses’ accomplishments. I also agree with the basic premise of this video.

I have to say, however, that most of what I know about Moses I have heard second hand because, and I know this is not a popular opinion, I can’t sit through his videos.

While I find his presence amiable, he seems to endlessly ramble.

There, I said it. :slight_smile:

I have to confess that I have not understand everything in the video… ;-(
