Deleted playlists still showing up in iOS app

I am pruning my list of playlists. I went into the web app and deleted quite a few that I have not used in a very long time and likely won’t use in the future.

However, they still show up in the iOS app unless I delete them there. It seems the web app properly adds new courses and synchronizes the audio list properly, but does not seem to delete lists in the iOS app.

It’s also hard to manually synchronize the list when (1) lists deleted in the web while sometimes empty on the phone app are still listed (2) the order of the playlists differ on the web and the phone. Hard to keep track.
