Hello, for anyone learning Czech. Are you having trouble with the word order?
I have learning Czech on and off for a couple of years.
Recently I found lingQ. I think it’s a great way to learn without being bothered by grammar rules!
I can understand what I read (I get the main idea) and I try to ignore the “scrambled word order”.
However, when I write to my Czech friends, they always correct my “backward” word order.
Is there a systematic way to learn the Czech word order?
Existuje systematický způsob, jak se naučit český slovosled?
Check this link. In general both English and Czech are subject-verb-object languages with only slight differences. Pay attention to them while reading and you will get used quickly
