Thanks for pointing this out.
Yes, this is indeed a new feature LingQ has been experimenting with.
The pictures fit really well, looks amazing on it.
Have a blessed day!
@ryldsamu How does it work?
Pretty sure that’s a feature, you can import a book with pictures and lessons will have pictures (tho it’s inconsistent somewhat, happened to me while I imported Conrad’s Au coeur des ténebres in epub, but it didn’t work with another file)
- you can imbed into a lesson in a lesson editing tab.
That doesn’t seem to be the case on my end. The editing tab hasn’t changed at all.
Here you go:
The interface used to be a bit different, took me awhile to find it. Last time I did it manually it was just ctrl-v with an image.
edit. I also noticed that not all urls are accepted here
wiki links seem to be ok, which is not the case for imgur or some other sites from google search results, idk
Awesome, thanks a lot. Don’t know why they have to hide it like that, though.
By the way, in the Editor is something neat.
What I just discovered however is you can edit word styles in the editor:
shocking
Yeah, noticed that a while ago, too.
I noticed that I can easely use links to images on webpages, which is great for news articles for example. However, linking to an image uploaded to mediafire.com doesn’t work. Would be nice to get some information on what is and is not supported. It would be great if we could just upload images directly from our computer like we can do with the lesson covers right now. Obviously with some size and amount limitations
EDIT: Things are going in the right direction.
I would also want to have functionality like editing word without going to the editor. It will help to correct misspells without struggle.
Indeed. In general the interface is unneccessarely clumsy. You always have to perform several clicks for things that should be doable much more directly. Further expanding the existing system will most likely never yield that result, though.
I guess the best approach would be to take the experiences and user feedback gathered over the years and use that to design the interface from the ground up. However, I doubt that this will happen (simply due to the manpower required).
