For the premium account, are there any restrictions in the kind of texts and/or words that can be imported for personal use (ie. not shared)?

For videos/other media that is legally and easily accessible online, while always adviced to ask for permission, you can just import them. Before sharing, a librarian has to check them anyways. For books etc, so copyrighted material, not shared. Not much more than that.

Some YouTube videos are protected and although you can ostensibly import them to LingQ, you cannot view the video outside YouTube. In Britain we have fair use laws, so for example we are allowed to make a copy of a musical record for our own use only. We are not allowed to distribute the copy to others. LingQ probably comes under that kind of law.
