Clicking on Word in Desktop Reader Selects Different Word

As the title suggests, when I click on a word, LingQ acts as if I clicked on a word that could be 2 words away or up to around 10 words away. It’s making it very difficult to change the “known” status of words that I come across. This is (I believe) the same problem as the one discussed in this post, but I wanted to make another post to bring further attention to the problem which has been persisting for some time.

When reading a lesson, the dictionary panel is always one word behind.

Example:

  • Click on “parajes” → dictionary shows “afán”.

  • Click on “la” → dictionary shows “advirtió”.

  • Click on “dificultad” → dictionary shows “la”.

The selected word in the text is correct, but the dictionary panel always displays the previous clicked word.

Refreshing the page (F5) fixes it temporarily, but after continuing to read, the problem comes back.

Browser: Google Chrome.
This started yesterday.

We pushed a fix for the mentioned issue. It should be working properly now.
