Hi everyone.
I’m a huge fan of classic English literature and poetry. So to start the new year off with a bang I have uploaded a total of 17 poems from various poets including the very famous Anonymous. 
I thought that by uploading this poetry I could give the Lingq community something interesting, cultural, and artistic to listen to. I hope it will also give English learners a taste of classical English literature and some idea of different ways in which words and intonation can be used to portray ideas and feelings in English. I also think that learners will find it useful to copy the rhythm, emphasis, and pronunciation of the readers in order to improve their use of this in their own speech.
I was also thinking that those of you who are brave enough to try, might like to discuss the poems and what they mean to you, or even write your own poetry. I would be happy to receive any written submissions of this nature, or even to have conversations related to this topic.
