I’ve been looking around for quite a while and there are many news related websites. However, most provide only text or audio and almost never both.
FTV (民視新聞 ) has video and transcript for a lot of their news reports. By transcript, I mean that everything that the news presenter says is available, but if they interview someone that piece is not included. You can watch the subtitles for those sections.
It seems to be an interesting resource for upper-intermediate or higher students. They are all quite short. The audio is usually around 1-2 minutes.

How I’m using them.

  1. Choose an article that also the little video icon. Cut and paste the transcript into lingq.

  2. Rip the audio from the youtube video using www.clipconverter.cc and import…
  3. Add the video(the youtube address) to the resources
  4. enjoy

迪士尼遇強震 台遊客歷劫歸來

東京迪士尼在經歷強震之後，園區里路面震毀，陸橋鋼筋裸露，部分區塊滲水泥濘，甚至出現地震後罕見的「土壤液化」現象，台灣一個38人的旅遊團，才從日本歷劫歸來，團員們在地震發生後，因為交通中斷，受困園區整整一天一夜，恐怖遭遇讓團員心有餘悸。

遭遇日本強震，受困迪士尼樂園一天一夜的台灣遊客，歷劫歸來，回想地震威力仍心有餘悸。

強震來襲前一秒，迪士尼的歡樂笑聲，瞬間被尖叫取代，穿著藍色制服的工作人員，趕忙安撫遊客情緒，還發送雨衣、垃圾袋，要遊客做好在戶外過夜的準備。

因應地震，遊客被迫在園區裡，搭帳棚過夜，天一亮才走出迪士尼，噴水池毀損，陸橋鋼筋裸露畫面映入眼簾，沿途所見，地磚嚴重隆起龜裂，不僅路面被震裂，部分區塊泥濘不堪，疑似出現滲水噴砂等，土壤液化現象。

日本迪士尼，其實位於海埔新生地上，位處東京近郊45分鐘車程的千葉縣，1983年填海造地佔地共51公頃，兩個主題樂園，每年吸引1900萬人次入園，開園至今遊客數超過4億人，榮登世界訪客數第一的主題樂園，這回遭逢地震襲擊，部分地區「土壤液化」，迪士尼史無前例一口氣園10天，進行檢查確保遊客安全。
