what does leer mean?

‘Leer’ is from the verb ‘leren’ and it means to learn. ‘Ik leer Nederlands’ means ‘I learn Dutch’:
Leren
ik leer
jij/u leert
hij/zij leert
wij leren
jullie leren
zij leren
I’m in this lesson too, It’s very difficult because de translation in google or in lingq it’s not correct and then we can’t learn good.
Example if you lingq leer you can see in translation “cuero”.
Could you something reveiw the vocabulary.

You need to know something about the Dutch verbs. Most of the verbs in the Dutch language ends on -en:
ik leer - from the verb: leren
ik woon - from the verb: wonen
ik studeer - from the verb: studeren
ik vind - from the verb: vinden
ik kom - from the verb: komen
The translation of this text is:
Hallo
I learn Dutch
I learn Dutch because I live here
I study here
I learn Dutch because I think it is a beautiful language
I learn Dutch because I come here often on vacation
I think Holland is a beautiful country

My question is about adjective “mooi” and “mooie”. Both mean “nice” but in the second case there is an ending -e. Could you explain me this rule about putting an ending? Bedankt

It depends on the place of the word in the phrase:
Mooie bloemen, mooie huizen, het mooie huis, de mooie bloem.
De bloemen zijn mooi, de huizen zijn mooi, het huis is mooi, de bloem is mooi.
It depends also on definite or indefinite article:
Het huis → Een mooi huis.
De bloem → een mooie bloem.
The same rule applies for other adjectives:
Het meisje → Het dikke meisje
Een meisje → Een dik meisje
De vrouw → Een dikke vrouw
