Can't play YouTube links via Lingq

When I click on a YouTube video link via Lingq, I get a message prompting me to “sign in to prove you’re not a bot” but I’m already signed in to YT, and when I click “sign in” nothing happens. I’ve tried everything I could find online to solve this, but nothing has worked. Is anyone else having this problem? I don’t have a VPN, and I use an android phone, so I can’t delete and reinstall YT.

Is that on the Android app version?

Yes, the android app. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ultra, if that has any bearing on it.

Do you see the same error message for any lesson with a video?

Yes, any lesson. It used to be that I could see the video, but I wouldn’t get credit for having completed the lesson, now I can’t even view the videos. I was just talking to a tech-savvy friend who used to use YT for his business, and he thinks the issue is on the YT end, but if that’s the case, it seems like almost all Lingq users would be having this problem. Thanks for looking at this.

Im also having this issue. It came and then went but for the last two weeks its been consistent.

@Auvers Do you use VPN by any chance?

No, but i thibk it might be an issue of my phone specifically. I recently got a new tablet and it works fine there. Both are Android.
