Can't access Swedish, 404 errors

Something seems to be wrong with Swedish today. I’ve tried accessing it from two different networks, but I keep getting 404 errors. This may be keeping other Swedish users out as well.

Since the users most recent language appears to be saved on the server, and not in a cookie, clearing cookies or using another browser doesn’t seem to help, as you are automatically brought back to the page for the language you were previously studying. Therefore, it may appear to Swedish users that the entire site is broken. To get to the forum I had to replace /se/ with /it/ in the URL bar. Not sure why I thought to do that, but it worked.

Yes, me too, I keep getting a 404 error return when I’m trying to access Swedish flashcards from an old e-mail (which I hadn’t tried to do before - it’s only recently that I’ve been returning to learning… I like the flash flashcards).

It should be working ok now. We made a change because the Swedish user interface wasn’t working properly which affected the Swedish page. There does seem to be something wrong with the banner colours still but we’re working on it.

As long as you get the banner working again in time for the royal wedding, no problem! Seriously, thank you.

The language code for swedish now appears to be “sv” instead of the previous “se”. So any bookmarks to “Login - LingQ…” should now be “Login - LingQ…”

Thank you for that timely hint!

My problem is I cannot find anywhere on my site to say I want to learn Swedish, not my native language which is English!

You change to your target language via the big white triangle in the top row. Ha kul!
