Cannot upload images

I cannot seem to upload an image to a lesson I’m trying to import, which means the lesson itself cannot be uploaded either. I uploaded the same image for another lesson yesterday with no problems. The screen just stays blank after I select my file. Clicking ‘finish’ gives a popup stating 500- internal server error.

Using Firefox 18.0.2

Also, a lot of the site text for me is suddenly in English, even though I have the interface set to French. It was mostly in French yesterday like it usually is.

Possibly related, the profile pic thumbs on the Friends page are not showing.

You just made me realize that mine is back to English as well. (At least for all but a few things.)

These issues should now be fixed. If you still experience problems uploading images, please let us know.
