Over the past couple of years I’ve mostly been using Japanese with Noriko, and Akane’s Japanese Classroom podcasts to learn. They are absolutely brilliant, they are about the right level for me (intermediate 1) and I love them. I would say over 95% of my Japanese listening comes from female speakers. Could anyone recommend me something similar with a male speaker?

I suggest using Podcast Addict for tracking your podcasts, finding new ones etc. I’m primarily using it for French, but since a while ago, I started discovering some Korean podcasts throught it.
Since I’m not learning Japanese, I cant recommend any particular podcasts, but this app will definitely be useful to you.
Ryusei Poddo Casto on youtube. No direct cc but there are subtitles in the video and the voice is consistent with numerous content to do shadowing.
