Bulk lesson import failed: why keep the user guessing?

I was using the Bulk Import this morning, and I saw the message “Failed to import lessons.” I tried two or three times with no luck.

So as usual: Lingq gave no reason for the failure. So, no help whatever diagnosing. I’ve raised this issue before: why not give a reason when Lingq fails? Why keep the user guessing?

Anyway, I guessed what the reasons is: too many new lessons at once. So: what is the limit you have imposed on the number of lessons the Bulk import will handle?

I agree we should provide more information here. I’ll see what we can do.

With 2 mp3 files, it worked, but with around 40, it failed with only “Failed to import”

I broke my files into smaller groups to get it working. I don’t mind limits, but they should be documented and the user should receive clear warnings.
