Greetings, everyone.
I have been experiencing an annoying bug (?) with the Google Chrome importer extension lately. Whenever I try to import Youtube videos to study here at LingQ (I usually opt for longer videos, ranging from about 20 to 40 minutes), parts of the lesson just don’t load/aren’t processed, it seems, and I end up with an incomplete, truncated version of the extracted audio - and especially transcript, as well, but sometimes both - as a result.
The audio of the following video, for instance, was imported successfully, with all 36 minutes working swimmingly; the transcript, however, was cut short at the 20-minute mark, and the rest of it was not set up as a separate lesson, either: https://youtu.be/G5ds6xEGAXk
The final 16 minutes’ worth of accompanying text simply did not show up with the rest of the audio; therefore, I was (and still am, as I attempted to re-import it multiple other times) unable to study the entire lesson with the help of LingQ, only the first part of it. I am already aware of the 2000-word threshold highlighted by Zoran in previous posts, yet this still does not explain the issue. This inexplicably began today - it wasn’t like this before.
Please look into this potential bug, LingQ team, as this has been happening with every video I’ve tried to import since then and is a big shortcoming, I would say.
Thank you in advance for your help.
