When there is a word sequence “A B C”, and the phrases “A B” and “B C” have already been created, it is not possible to create the phrase “A B C”.
When selecting “A B C”, the meaning you enter is added to “A B” instead.

Regarding this issue:
A phrase with a hyphen is treated the same as the phrase without it in running text.
For example, if the phrase “made-up” is saved, it will match “made up” in running text, and the meaning of “made up” you write will be automatically placed under “made-up.”
However, in a word list search, entries with hyphens are only found if the hyphen is included. That is, searching for “made up” won’t find “made-up” which includes the meaning of “made up”.
Since “made-up” is an adjective and “made up” is a phrasal verb, they should be treated differently. It’s not intuitive to have to search for “made-up” when looking for “made up.”
