Bug - Generate Transcription or Transcription's reproducing

Hi, everyone.

I’m having problems with transcriptions of some imported books (pdf or epub). The texts are corrects, and page by page everything is well, but, after generate the audio, some of them, when I played the audio, in some point the transcription falls the sequence, jumps to another party, returns back, and is impossible to follow the with the text.

One example:

After the “weeks afterward.” (penultimate line) the audio jumps to “…could it be that some people…” two pages ahead.

I ask you to analyze and correct this.

Thank you

I had major problems myself when I was trying to transcribe my audio files in German and part of the audio files were not actually transcribed maybe two or three minutes or maybe even 4 minutes and I already reported this problem but I don’t know if anyone took a look at it in great detail

Thanks, we will investigate the issue.

Maybe we need to send messages, in Steve Kaufmann’s videos, about these issues in the platform. I am loving LingQ, but the support and solving issues are pretty weak and slow (or nothing). I reported few lessons, without fixing or answers, and here, my problems continue.

Hello @DJFill we made a fix for this issue. I generated new audio for your lesson and it looks fine. Could you please check? Also, if there are another lessons with incorrect audio, you can remove the audio track (on the Edit lesson page) and generate new one. It should be correct.

I tested this and, now, it is ok. I will observe about other generated audios in the future.
Thanks.

I came back. Another import, the same problem (now from an audio import), @zoran :

:face_with_steam_from_nose:

@DJFill Sorry to hear. I will look into this lesson.

Thanks @zoran .

Will it take another month? I really need to study this podcast, and it will be so important it solves this quickly.

@DJFill That lesson should be fixed now.

@zoran, that lesson didn’t be fixed. Actually they changed the audio of the podcast, but I want you really fixing the transcriptions of the podcast, not the audio (and then, generating this AI audio). You need to fix keeping the original audio of the .mp3 file.

@DJFill Sorry, just to make this clear, in your initial email on this thread you wrote that “after generate the audio, some of them, when I played the audio, in some point the transcription falls the sequence”. Are you generating lesson audio or uploading mp3 files?

@zoran , it is a little different problem (but I opened a separated post (Bug), that was deleted, maybe because you are doing in this post).

Like I said, here: “I came back. Another import, the same problem (now from an audio import)” <<<

And, later “I really need to study this podcast”<<<

So, it is an uploading mp3 files. I need to upload again for you fix to me?

@DJFill Please upload the original audio you have again and let me know. Thanks.

I reimported the mp3, and now - differently of the previous times - it worked (I didn’t listen the whole podcast):
