If I book a conversation in through the ‘Speak’ section of the system, is the time it is scheduled for based on the time-zone where I live or is it based on the clock of the computer that I’m using? I just want to make sure I know what time the conversation will be.
The time is shown in whatever time zone you have selected in your account. Your current time zone is displayed at the top of the Speak page. You can change this on the Settings page.
I just wonder whether there is any risk of there being an hour or two difference. We have these time changes twice a year called ‘daylight savings’. I’ll try to figure it out. It should be fine I think.
LingQ should handle daylight saving automatically. The only problem is when students pick the wrong time zone, maybe because their country isn’t on the list to choose from.
