Bigger font in all views

Hello!

I’m using an IPad to read in LingQ, learning arabic currently. When you are in the “default” view it is possible to increase the font size on the script to a good level.

What I think is missing is that you should be able to increase the font size on the translated words (when you click/press on a word). Also when you are in the sentence mode, the translated words in the bottom should also be bigger if you want. The same goes for the “Match the pairs” view. The script is so small, even on a big ipad so it’s almost not usable. I need a bigger font on the script, since it is already difficult to read arabic but with such a small font it makes it worse.

Do you have anything planned for something like this?

Best regards
Christian

There’s no way to change the font settings of those translations. If you use LingQ in a web browser, it could be achieved by a userscript, but since you use it within an iPad app, there’s no way until the LingQ team adds new options for that.

If you also use LingQ with a web browser, try this script. It allows you to change the translation font setting.

Also for the flash card section the font is way too small. I hope this could be fixed directly in the app.

Please LingQ team, I hope you see this and think this is a good improvement!

Is it possible to run these userscripts with a browser on the ipad somehow, if you know? I tried googling it, but didn’t find any definitive answer.

I don’t have any mac device, so I’m not sure it’s working or not.

Search with a keyword “userscript”.
