@Rudeneja - In addition to trying to download and play the audio file, would you be able to ensure that your Flash player is up to date? You can do this by going here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Hi again,
I am sorry to disturb, but I still have problems with some audios. My Flash player is up to date.
Can it be something size related? I tried this one today Login - LingQ and it doesn’t work. But I have never had a problem with my Spanish or French lessons - I am at lower level there and the lessons are normally much shorter… So far I only get this problem at advanced level
@Rudeneja - I tried this lesson and it seems to be working properly. Does the player show 00:00 / 16:15 or does it show 00:00 / 00:00? If it shows the second one then it’s likely that the file hasn’t yet been buffered and you may need to wait a bit longer. Try keeping the page open for 20-30 seconds or so and see if that helps.
@Alex: I had reported on September, 3rd that I had a delay. You’ve asked if this was a temporary problem. The answer is yes. Now it seems to work faster. I guess server or internet problems probably cause the problem with long audio files but I’m not sure about this.
@VeraI - OK, glad to hear it. Perhaps it’s the same for Rudeneja above, but we’ll see!
I’m new to LingQ and could not play any audio so far but downloading is fine. The play button hasn’t been responsive. pls advise
@marcusjob - Sorry to hear that! Would you let us know which browser you are using? Also, are you having this same issue with other browsers as well?
Hi. Im using Firefox and dont use other browsers. i don’t mind downloading audio just a little inconvenience…
On top of the above issue im currently experiencing “Internal Server Error” whenever im trying to open a course which is annoying. I believe other users are facing the same problem too. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. Thx
@marcusjob - The issue with the internal server error should be resolved now, sorry about that!
The reason I ask about other browsers is that it will help us better understand whether the issue is related to Firefox in particular or something else on your computer. Are you able to install another browser and try the site to see if audio works?
You may also want to try updating your Firefox if you haven’t already to see if that helps.
