"Art" and "performing art"

What’s the difference?

“The performing arts are those forms of art which differ from the plastic arts insofar as the former uses the artist’s own body, face, and presence as a medium, and the latter uses materials such as clay, metal or paint which can be molded or transformed to create some physical art object. The term “performing arts” first appeared in the English language in the year 1711.”

Art:

“Art is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture, and paintings. The meaning of art is explored in a branch of philosophy known as aesthetics.”

Performing arts is acting, drama, theater, singing etc. Art is painting, drawing, sculpting etc.
