That’s right, Ironvil. 4 coin words are the most frequently appearing words while 1 coin words are less frequent. You earn 4 coins for every status increase for 4 coin words and 1 coin for 1 star words.
I’m not sure what you mean by line feeds. You are able to insert the sentence breaks using the controls on the edit lesson page but I suspect that is what you mean by it being too tedious. We are working on splitting texts into sentences better so this should improve over time. Trying to insert special spacing or html type characters will not work.
As far as finding your place in the audio, the best way is to try and match up the location in the audio with a similar location in the progress bar and then page back and forth to find your spot.
Interesting you should say that Vera. For me, it is precisely the longer texts that are infinitely better in a paged view. You always know where you are across devices and you can just worry about digesting bite sized pieces.
You should be able to deselect the traditional character option in the settings. Is the setting not working? @vrwtwt Is that still an issue for you as well?
Regarding spacing, there isn’t much more we can do there. We have tried to reduce it as much as we can but we can’t reduce it entirely and have our functionality work the way it does. Sorry about that.
Great update, however in the previous version I could select a word and then edit, which is very useful in German since some words are split off and you can’t select both parts, but now it does not let me edit the word (lingq) I have selected. I hope you can bring that function back, thanks!

There is something wrong on the import text page.
Yes, after setting “Asian Script settings to OFF” and reloading the page, the traditional characters are back again, and the setting is lost. I have to set it to OFF every time I start a Chinese text.
In classic mode you can export the Lingqs of the lesson to a textfile. This function seems to be missing from the new view.
Also, increasing the number of times that you’ve read the article now takes two clicks rather than the previous one click. This might seem like a minor issue but it’s just bad UI design and will become an annoyance due tothe high frequency usage of this function.
There should also be an option to increase or decrease the amount of text shown on each page.
diosconequis, do you mean editing the hint for the word (i.e. the translation), or editing the word that is actually being saved?
Every time I open an OLD lesson (having it read until the end yesterday, e.g.) , it is opened on the last page. Now I have to go from the last page to the first page. That’s quite tedious. Is there a shortcut to go to the beginning more rapidly?
I mean the actual word which is being saved. So, for example “I give myself up” the word is “give up”, so I select the word give and then edit it to “give up” and save my Lingq as “give up” 
Yes, on the green bar which shows your progress on the lesson you can click on the very first green square to go to the beginning, or to any other to go to that part of the text 
I am quite a conservative person and I am usually afraid of all changes, but this time I like this new Lingq Reader.
It would be especially useful for the beginners 1,2 and Intermediate 1 because when such a student looks at the whole text with so many blue words he becomes panic-stricken, and now he\she looks at the part of the text and can be more encouraged to get through it and then add a new page etc.
But it’s also good that for the high level stidents the opportunity of classic view of the whole podcast is also avalable.
And the dictionaries works more reliable with a lot of examples.

I use my PC only for LingQ. Maybe that is why I don’t see this advantage. And when I come back to a lesson it is quite easy to find the correct position because the last LingQ has a red border.
New members are not able to switch to the classic view. I don’t understand this.
@job86 - If you click the View all LingQs button on the Review activities page, this takes you to the Vocabulary page with the list of terms from that lesson selected. You can export from there. We do plan on adding this functionality to the lesson review area so you won’t have to leave that page in the future.
Sorry for moving the counters off the main page but we wanted to remove as much clutter as possible and those controls are only used occasionally during typical usage. However. by tucking them out of sight we are worried that they aren’t visible enough for all users to realize they exist. We are trying to figure out the best place to add them to make them more prominent.
This does exist in the Settings for the lesson. Just click on the gear icon to see the settings.
That would irritate me because there are pros and cons to both the new system vs. the classic. I am right now integrating both, depending on the text and my goal with the lesson.
That function is no longer there but we are planning on figuring out a way to enable something similar. For now, you will have to add new words on the Vocabulary page. You could just open it in another tab.
