If you mean the novel written by George Orwell in 1945, I believe that is still under copyright. It is not legal to make copyrighted works publicly available on Lingq, or elsewhere, without proper permission of the copyright holder. If one already has a legal copy, then it is permissible to load it into Lingq for personal use only.

I found it on Archive, both pdf and audiobook
Just last year Amazon had to withdraw Animal Farm from Kindle when it was discovered that Amazon had no right to its publication, according to Wikipedia. If it was in the public domain Amazon could have done whatever they wanted with it. To me that sounds like it’s still under copyright protection.
