After only two weeks on LingQ, I feel I am ‘spreading myself too thin’. I feel that words are not showing up with great frequency and I am constantly encountering new words, so i am not reviewing previous words. I am not getting quality ‘spaced repitition’. Im constantly being exposed to new words…which are quickly forgotten.

Advice from anyone? Does anyone find it helpful to repeat lessons? Russian

I constantly repeat lessons, more so when I started. I would listen and read a lesson, then listen to it on my MP3 player, then go back and redo the lessons I did not understand.
I think you’ve answered your own question. If you start to feel out of your depth you go back to the shallow end and review.
You could also mix it up and start to study another basic course if you want to keep it fresh.
When you first start out, repetition is key, I think. You’ll advance a lot faster with a repetition based approach. Once you’re at B2 and above, you may end up moving onto more of a new content based approach.
Everyone is a bit different, but I think early on I think it is more helpful to learn shorter lessons with lots of volume. However, I don’t think you have to read and listen to where you understand EVERYTHING in a shorter lesson.
^^ This and what Louise said are the best in my opinion. It also mirrors a lot of what I first thought too. When I was reading news article, I was typically always importing new stuff as much of the same words were used over and over again to a degree. Then there were others that always seemed to bring in more words, especially bigger stories.
I say repeat a lot of the same, shorter content until you know a fair amount of it, or get bored. then move on.
