Add a Simple Way to Review and Practice Recently Learned Vocabulary

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the vocabulary learning experience in LingQ.It would be helpful to have a dedicated section where users can quickly review words they have recently learned or changed from unknown to known. The review could include the word, translation, example sentence, and the lesson where it was originally encountered.A few useful options could include:

• Filter vocabulary by recently learned words

• Review words based on learning status

• Show example sentences from the original lesson

• Add a quick flashcard or practice mode

• Allow users to mark difficult words for additional review

This could make it easier to reinforce new vocabulary without having to search through individual lessons. Would other LingQ users find a feature like this useful? I’d be interested to hear what improvements you would most like to see in the vocabulary review system.

There is some overlap with the feature linked below.

Your request would require the words-to-show filters to be a little smarter to be able to detect the words that changed states during the lesson reading, instead of just examining their current state.

Add a Summary mode: show only the sentences with unknown words

When called in a lesson, it would display only the sentences with still-unknown words (blue and/or yellow) in context (the sentence) in a compact and efficient mode. When called in a course, it would do the same across all the - already opened - lessons.
