Adapted books and audiobooks in English

Hi!

It is useful to listen and read аdapted books and audiobooks in English as The Macmillan Readers and others?

I’m not native English speaker and I don’t know natural phrases in this books or not.

In my view, it is useful. These books have helped me a lot. As I could see from comparison with LingQ content and native speakers’ podcasts, these artificially abridged books have limited vocabulary but the phrases are rather natural and can be used in everyday speech. And I think it would be the most useful to combine them with the LingQ learning method. I mean, you listen to the book as many times as you need, then import its text into LingQ (without sharing) and save as many phrases as you need.
